Jcly 23. Palmerston, ketch, Brebner, for Port Chalmers. W. Aitken, agent. VESSELS IN PORT. Brigantine—P. hoderick Dhu. Topsail Schooner —Pelican. Schooner —Transit. Ketch —Franklin Belle. The Union Steamship Company's p.s. Samson, Captain Jones, arrived from Dunedin at 3.45 p.m. yesterday. .She left Port Chalmers at 10.15 a.m., and experienced equally weather along the coast. She brings 12 tons cargo and 10 passengers. She will leave again on her return trip to Dunedin at the usual hour this evening. The ketch Palmerston, Captain Brebner, from Kakanui, with a cargo of wool and tallow for Port Chalmers, put in here on Sunday morning for shelter. She left again for her destination this morning. The ketch Franklin Belle, Captain Bradshaw, arrived early on Sunday morning. She is from Dunedin, with a cargo of building material consigned to Mr. Maude. The s.s. Waitaki is due here at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
