MOitE GOVERNMENT BLUNDERING—iS'EW RAILWAY TARIFF. July 9. The agitation against the new railway tariff is rapidly increasing. The passenger traffic is, according to newspaper l'eports, decreasing, while waggons on the public roads and coastal steamers are starting to run in opposition to the railway for goods traffic. Three public meetings of merchants and agriculturists are called for this week to consider and protest against the tariff.
