MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
THIS DAY. (Before T. W. Parker. Esq., R.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDEKIY. James Allison pleaded guilty to having been drunk and disorderly in Thamesstreet on Saturday, and was discharged with a caution. George Rosen also pleaded guilty to having been drunk and disorderly in Tluunts-street on Sunday, and was fined ss. in consequence of ids having been noisy as well as drunk. Thomas Bassett pleaded guilty to having bean drunk and disorderly in Thamts■itreet on Saturday, and was fined 10s., with the option of 24 hours' imprisonment. Michael Cassy pleaded guilty to having been drunk and disorderly in RibbL - strei-t on Sunday. The apprehending constable having stated that accused was making use of bad language, his Worship inflicted a line of 205., with the alternative of three days' imprisonment. CIVIL CAS a. Cahill v. Engel—Claim, L 36 14s. 3.1., on a judgment summons. Mr. O'Meagher appeared for the plaintiff, and stated that only LG had been paid since judgment was obtained, three mouths ago. The money paid had been received about 10 days ago, and he did not tiiink this should be taken as an earnest desire to clear off the debt. The ca3e was further adjourned until the 9th August, in order to see if the defendant showed any desire to pay the debt.
