REPORTED RUSSIAN DEFEAT. RUSSIAN ATROCITIES. Singapore (no date). A Turkish despatch says that the Russians were completely defeated on the 27tii, near Soukhum Kaleh. The Russian headquarters have been transferred to Sistova. The bombarding of Rustchuk continues, the principal buildings having been destroyed ; Is'icopolis is also destroyed. Bombay, July 2. Turkey complains of Russian atrocities at Ardahan, and also of the complete and wanton destruction of houses. At Rustchuk the Russian loss, while crossing the Danube, was 100. The opposition from the Turks was weak. The Suez mail left Galle on the 30th June.
