WELLINGTON.
ALLEGED CRUELTY TO LUNATICS. June 19. The New Zealand Times of this morning says that it learns that a serious charge has been brought against the management of the Mount View Lunatic Asylum for the alleged ill-treatment of a patient, and insinuates that the Asylum has been mismanaged since the death of Mr. Eager. Arrived : Endeavour, from Oamaru.
