| TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENING MAIL, i Sm, —Can you inform me whose cluty it is to see that unseaworthy vessels do I not go to sea! At present, there is a vessel lying in harbour—the Wave—which it would be well to have examined, for the purpose of seeing whether men ought to be allowed to go to sea ih her. If the rumors which at present are afloat regarding her are only half true, an inquiry ought to be held.
