HEAVY FLOODS.
Kumara, June 12.
There has been a remarkably heavy downpour of rain during the past 24 hours. The Teremakau is flooded with surface water. Heavy floods are reported throughout the district. The outward Christchurch mail could not proceed this morning, and returned to Hokitika. There
has been no mail to or from Greymouth to-day. It is still raining.
