Dunedin, June 7. NARROW ESCAPE.

The side of the wall of Kirkpatrick's drapery shop, Princes-street, fell down this afternoon, where excavation had been carried on. Two girls, who were upstairs—the others being absent at

lunch—were thrown out amongst the bricks, but fortunately escaped without

serious injury.
