AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS.
Messrs. Fleming and Heiiley report that they held a sale on Saturday at the Commercial Yards, on account of .Mr. Stewart lJoig and other vendors, of a number of draughts, hacks, and light harness horses. There was a good- attendance and fair demand; the horses being mostly of inferior quality, juices ruled rather low. They quote—Draughts, L2O to L4O; draught colts, Ll4 to JL22: hacks, L 9 to Ll4 10s ; 1 station waggonette, LBS ; harness at fair rates. Mr. A. H. Maude reports that he held a sale of draught horses, drays, xc, at Gibbs" Yards on Saturday. There was a small attendance. Only a few draughts were submitted—medium to supeiior ranging from L2O to Lot) ; harness, &c, at low rates. At 1 p.m., at his stores, Tyne-street, lie sold the freehold of section 2, block XLVI., with two 2-roomed cottages thereon. The property was knocked down, after a spirited , competition, at L 253 10s.
