THE HARBOUR BOARD.
The Finance Committee of the Harbour Board recommend dispensing with the Assistant Harbour-master, thereby saving L3OO per annum. The following tenders were received for the construction of a steam launch for the Harbour Board :
Davidson, L 2,300 ; Sparrow, L 1,525 ; Kincaid and M'Queen, L 1,496.
