DIVORCE COURT.
In the Divorce Court this morning Mr. Barton applied for a decree absolute in the case of Forest v. Forest and Hagan, which was granted without opposition. The case of A. Tong v. A. Tong (in which Mr. Chapman applied for a hearing and decree nisi) was ordered to stand over till the next sitting of the Court to enable the petitioner to obtain an affidavit for the Court. Cann v. Cann and Howard, in which Mr. Bell applied for a decree absolute, was also postponed to enable an affidavit to be lodged. These are all Otago cases.
