JN FUTURE the EVENING MAIL will be published at four o'clock in the afternoon, and Advertisers should therefore send in their favours not later than half-past three, in order to insure their insertion. Mails Close— For Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily, at 6 a.m. For Pukeuri and Waitaki, daily, at 9 a.m. For Waimate, Timaru, Christchurcli, and North Island, daily, at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. For Papakaio and Duntroon, daity, at 4 p.m. For Awamoko, on Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m. For Haerewhenua, Upper Ferry, and Oamarama, on Tuesday, at 4 p.m. For Weston and Teaneraki, daily, at 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin and South, per p.s. Samson, on Monday and Thursday, at 5 p.m. ; and per s.s. Waitaki, on Wednesday and Saturday, at 10 a.m. Letter- may be registered during' the ordinary office hours, and for despatch by any mail, one hour before the closing of such mail. FRED.
