MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
THIS DAY, (Before T. W. Fak:.-f : i!. ksq., R. 11.)CRUNK AND DISORDERLY. James Duncan was charged with being drunk and disorderly, on Saturdaj'', and dismissed with a caution. John O'Connor, charged with being drunk and disorderly on Saturday afternoon, in Thames-street, was also dismissed with a caution, accused promising that he would not again come before the Court. BREACH OF CORPORATION DYE-LAWS. James Reed was charged by Arthur Toms, Inspector of Nuisances, with having dej>osited night-soil on tbe beach, on the 3rd of March, Accused admitted the offence. • The Inspector stated that he had previously spoken to defendant on the subject, and cautioned him against depositing night-soil on the beach, but he had persisted in doing so. Evidence having been taken, His Worship ordered defendant to pay a fine of 30s. and costs. CIVIL CASES. John Cahill v. Charles Engel.— Claim, £33. Mr. Hislop appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. Baliner for the defendant. This was a judgment summons. Case adjourned for three months.
