OFF TO WELLINGTON.

Dunedin, April 7

A number of huge trunks, said to contain the provincial records belonging to the Lands Survey and Public Work 3 Department, are being cleared out of the Provincial Buildings, and addressed to Donald lleid, Esq., Wellington. In future all the Municipal and Public Works business will have' to be obtained from the Central Department. The proceedings are severally denounced as being likely to be productive of immense public inconvenience.
