THE RAILWAY BANQUET.
Mr. BLair, District Engineer, at thn rail wav banquet yesterday, suited that al l the gold that Gabriel's and the Blnespur had product would not construct a railway direct to Lawrence. Notwithstanding the roughness of the country, the cost of making good anything insufficient, and providing for unforeseen contingencies, did not amount to three per cent, on the total cost. Major Steward proposed the toast of " Success to the Lawrence line."
