Templeton was, however, not to be denied, and at the back of the course took up the running and won easily. Time, 4min. Sisec. FLYING HANDICAP. Fishhook ... ... •• • 1 Dead Heat ... ... ... 2 Hob Roy 3 Fishhook was a hot favorite at starting. 2to 1 being gi"en on him. He won pretty easily by a length. Time, 2min. Tisco. BENEVOLENT HURRY SCURRY. Comet ... ... 1 CONSOLATION HANDICAP. Princess Mary, 6st 1 Dead Heat, 6st. 51b 2 Rob Roy, 7st. 3 Pungawerewere, Elfin King, and Tadmore also ran. The race was a very good one, the mile being done in lmin. 50sec.
