RACING ARRANGEMENTS.
Four engines and twelve leng carriages will start each at intervals of eight minutes for the course on the racs days. They will be capable of conveying five thousand passengers per hour. Tickets are on sale at all the hotels. The tender of Messrs. Watson Bros, for the catering for the gvand stand and enclosures has been accepted, the amount being £ll2. The Caledonian Band, with 16 performers, are to play on the lawn. Mr. John M-'Neil has been -appointed Clerk of the Scales, and Mr. James Davidson starter, owing to the ill-health of Mr. Dodson. FJFTIO THOUSAND P2R3B3S are expected to be on the course.
