Since then the business has been, and is still, largely increasing, and the accumulated PROFITS will be DIVIDED AS BONUSES amongst the insured, thus giving them the full advantage of A PURELY MUTUAL OFFICE. A comparison of the rates of Premiums charged by the Government and by private companies (tiieii: cor responding participating scales) will show that by insuring in tlie former a present and continuous SAVING OF I ROil 15 TO 20 PER CENT, will be effected, thus practically giving to each policy-holder an IMMEDIATE CASH BONUS on every occasion of paying his premium ; while he is also entitled to share in the GENERAL DIVISION OF PROFITS, to take place every five years.
