THE DUNEDIN MILLERS.
Under the heading " Important Resolution," the Saturday Advertiser of to-day has the following skit on the Dunedin Millers' " Compact " :—" At a special meeting of the Dolls' Eye Makers of Caversham, held last week, the following resolution was unanimously carried : ' That we, the undersigned Dolls' Eye Makers of Caversham, will not supply any. Toy Dealer, Fancy Goods Merchant, Cheap Jack, or Hawker, residing at Caversham or its suburbs, who from and after the 10th of March, 1877, imports any Dolls' Eyes from Green Island or its dependencies, or who shall buy from any person so importing. In token of which we hereby affix our hands and seals. f J. Graeall & Co, 1 P. GbABAITi. '■ Covet, Grub, & Co. ( J, Bounce- a-jian, ' " The only Dolls' Eye Maker in Caversham who refused to affix his signature to the resolution is Mr. Richard Poplolly."
