THE BISHOP AND THE MAORIS.
The Rev. Lorenzo Moure, the Church of England clergyman at Port Chalmers, declares that Bishop Nevill jumped the Presbyterian Clmrch, at the Maori Kaik, by mistake. This explanation is acknowledged to be correct, as the claim has never been a paying one.
