EDUCATION BOARD.

Consideration of the following motion moved by Mr. Gillies at the Education Board yesterday, was postponed till March :—"ln view of early legislation on public schools, the Board is of opinion it is highly desirable that a Board of Directors be appointed to take special charge of girls' and boys' high schools, to consist of six members—two nominated by Education Boards, two by University professorial Board, and two by District School Committee. Also, that education reserves be equitably apportioned by Act of the Assembly among the three following schools :—Common Schools, Grammar Schools, Normal, and,. High Schools.
