DIRECTIONS: For Bruises and Sprains. Mix a tablespeonful of the extract with half a tumbler of cold water, and keep a cloth constantly -wet with the lotion thus made applied to the part affected for several hoars. Pains in the Side, Back, &a The same lotion caH be applied ; but the better way is to use the extract as a Liniment, rubbing it thoroughly with the hand or a piece of coarse flannel.
