Duntroon, 3 p.m. There was a splendid attendance, the day glorious, and the running excellent. The grand.stand was well patronised, and the booths seemed to do a roaring business. The train brought up 200 persons, and arrived in good time. There were upwards of 600 present during the day. Waitaki Cup, a Handicap of 100 sovs., with a sweep of 2 sovs. each ; the sweep to go to the second horse ; distance, two miles ; nomination, £2 2s. ; acceptance, £2 2s. ; open to all horses. „ J. C.
