Dunjedin. Tuesday. PERJURY. ' At the Police Court, this morning, H W. W. Wilson, solicitor, of Napier, wi charged by Mr." Stamper, solicitor, ml perjury in connection with a debt casei which he was defendant. The case hi been remanded till the 10th prox. THE SOUTH DUNEDIN COUNCIL A stormy meeting of the South Dunedj ratepayers was held last night to considi the action of the Councillors in resolvii to borrow a further sum of £3,000. i was unanimously carried that the Counj was not competent to conduct the busine of the Municipality, and a resolution proposed and seconded—that the May and all the Councillors should resign, n approved of.
