TO STAND THIS SEASON, in the Oatnarn District, and at Mr. Paterson's private resilience, Oamaru, the fashionably bretl and very superior Thoroughbred Horse PP/ 0B )V. By Panic (importedj, out vm Hastcr Grazebrook, by the Printer (imported), out of Miss NapicJTfcbv Belapre An ported), out of Mrs. Robektf ~Y>y AVagtlSter (imported); Panic by AlStof, out of by Melbourne, out of Birthday by Pantaloon, out of Honoria by Camel, &.C., &c. Pertobe is a dark bay horse, seven years old, standing 13 hands 3 inches high, with great length, substance, and quality, and was one of the fastest horses that ever raced in Victoria. The fact that he has got Pantaloon blood in his veins is a great recommendation, for it is questionable if better flows in any animal's. The very bc3t runners and the grandest specimens of the thoroughbred are descended from Pantaloon, whose blood cannot be excelled. The value of Pantaloon blood is undeniable, having furnished so many proofs not alone as to speed and staying, but also as a running strain, for although some others occasionally produce one or two first-class animals, still few can compete with that in question as to number. l''or high breeding, gnod true racing action, honesty and gatneness, with speed of remarkable brilliancy, Pertu!>e has no equal, and Thoroughbred Mares put to him should breed g«jod racehorses. Terms, £5 55., payable at end of January, 1577 ; Grooms Fee, .35., payable at first service. Paddocks provided at 2s. 6d. per week ; every cace taken, but no responsibility. 637 yjpN A B AND Al J!
