BATHGATE. - .__- A number' of letters have appeared in the "Times" lately," criticising Mr. Bathgate's action as Resident Magistrate. Mr. Bathgate, from the Bench to-day, stated that he believed no weight was attached to them, since his position prevented him from replying.
