Ifyp]u, Mr, Editor, should, oblige'by giving insertion to this letter, I shall be under a multiplicity of compliments' to >yous but, in future, I shall pay no attention to "Maguffin," "Simplicity," or any other of your correspondents, unless they give their Christian and surnames, as I do. When they do so. I -will give ample satisfaction through Press or otherwise. P. Eiordan. [We are pleased to hear that Mr. Patrick Eiordan has come to the above wise conclusion, for had he not, we should have closed the correspondence. In parting, however, we recomjnend that gentleman to adhere to his resolution, or appear hi print as seldom as possible. Should he, however, alter his mind, let him avoid being sarcastic (?), for in in trying to be so, he is merely vulgar and abusive. —Ed. E. M.]
