CAPSIZED.

The AttdkM " Herald" of the 24th uL, up:—"A witter belongingto H.M.S. Npiphe capsized in the harbour whilst proceeding tinder nail from the wharf to that man-o*-war. There were nine blue jacket* in the boat. The weather was at the time boisterous; uiml from w>rlli-«ast, with occasional hard pulls. The boat, after opening out from shelter of the new railway wharf, encountered the full force of the wind, and, after weathering the hath, went over, precipitating her nim men into the water. Watermen Hunt and J(ihna*m were, fortunately, near at hand, with their boat, and succeeded in resetting •even out of the nine seamen, who, however, tumbled into the watermen's bodt over the b©w» in aacb a way as to threaten to send her down by the nose, until Hnnt persuaded them to trim her by shifting aft. The steam-launch of the Nymphe, followed by the steam-launches of the other men-o'-war, were quickly on the aeene, and saved the remaining two men In the water. Boats were also lowered from the D&fpuaatffid and Agnes, two boats Sit off from the wharf, and another at the boom was promptly manned ; so thai in a short time plenty of sttccottr was at hand. Fortunately the mishap occurred in the daytime, as at night it is hard to say how the occupants of the boat wottM have fared.
