John Tapley, arrested by Constable Hackett, was cautioned aiul discharged, but -Ordered to pay cost of express _hire (!2s. 6d.) in conveying him to the lock-up. Frederick Palmer, arrested by Constable Moroney, was fined 155., or 4S hours' imprisonment. Finapaid. DRTJ2JK AND INDECENT EXPOSURE. Charles Weymen, arrested by Constable Stewart, was charged with the above oHence. It appeared from the evidence of the Constable that the prisoner entered a private house during yesterday afternoon, slammed the front door to, and then committed the offence complained of. His Worship told the prisoner that he had not the slightest doubfc regarding the facts as deposed to, and he very much regretted he had not the power to deal with the case, the Act providing no jurisdiction, the offence having been committed in a private place, The Bench fined the prisoner £5 for being dnuik, with the alternative of fourteen days' imprisonment. A friend of the prisoner's came forward and paid the fine.
