SADDLE FIELD WEAK
BROOK POINTER SHOULD CARRY THE BULLION. (From "N.Z. Truth's" South Island Trotting Rep.) DROOK POINTER seems to strand out ■ as' the one bright spot m the St. Kilda Saddle, and pn what we have seen of Brook Pointer m this class of contest, the others look like being very busy. In addition to being capable, Brook , Pointer will probabb' be ridden by King, brie of the best of saddle horsemen. . The distance suits Liberal, which has some fast performances to his credit. 1 -' Mac Dillon has been racing well ; without. getting much money this sea- ' son.. and Gold Chimes is likely to Im--1 prove, but Mac D'Vlon and Liberal : may be most trouble to Brook Point- ! er. ■ ' i
