A TTENTION has been directed to the 'fact; that a number of Australians, unable to secure employment m the commonwealth, where thousands .are out of billets, are crossing the Tasman m search of jobs m the Dominion. Although the number of these arrivals to date has not been sufficiently large to* efiibarrass us, our own unemployment situation is, so acute that we cannot afford to permit the arrival of further unemployed, and we should adopt the system at present m force m Canada,' whereby any arrival from overseas- can be refused admittance to theA country if he is, m search of employment m a line m which. there. are many persons already unable to obtain positions. . y
