"* Claiming that she was no longer able to work owing to her ill-health, Mrs. Zoe Teresa Wilkie proceeded against her husband, John Campion Wilkie, m the Wellington Magistrate's Court, asking for an increase m her maintenance allowance of 15/- a week. Her application was granted, an increase-, of -, ID/- per week being made. Wilkie is a well-educated* and Vell-corinected young man, well-known around Gisborne. His stepfather is George Etlie, said to be one of the richest men m New Zealand and owner of Tangihau station, while his grandfather is Mr. Campion, another prosperous^ sheepfarmer.
