SOME MAGAZINES
"Weldon" is a household name whereever women foregather, and the August issues of "Weldon's Ladies' journal" and "Weldon's Bazaar of Children's Fashions" hold something of interest for every woman. Fashions are, of course, the principal feature of both publications, and the eight- page colored supplement of Paris fashions m the former magazine will specially appeal. Another worthwhile magazine which we have received from Messrs. Gordon and Gotch is the June' number of "Britannia and Eve," m which fiction, fashions and housekeeping fill many well-illustrated pages. Stoi-m Jameson, Philip Gibbs, Beverley Nichols and others are among the contributors. For talkie fans, the "Picturegoer" represents an excellent purchase, full of brightly written articles and jottings, and profusely illustrated.
