Bujb . over the last half-mile Ahuriri pulled out a terrific effort and beat Prince Pointer for first money. ' Since then Prince Pointer lias added to- his good achfevement, taking a record of 4.22 for two miles. He competed at the August meeting, but has now been retired to tlie stud.
