W7ITH few light-weights of note the " accident which befel Keith Voitre at Taranaki last week is deplored. by owners. Voitre had both wrists broken m the Moturoa Hack smash, and although the fractures were of the clean order and are expected to' mend speedily, it will be some months -before the Manawatu apprentice will again be at the service of owners. Trainer Rowley Hatch told "N.Z. Truth" that he is not likely to allow the boy to ride again before next spring. Jack Barry came off worst of the other riders m the smash and returned home to Wanganui with an injured back. However, his absence from the saddle is not likejy to be of long duration. -, ,
