DOC. WILLIAM McKAY, familiarly known to residents of Greymouth
and the West Coast generally as Doctor Bill," is the the "real McKay" m his profession. Coming to the West Coast as a lad he has spent most of his life m Greymouth and has now almost retired from active practice, only taking on locum, work for hiy brother medicos m the district. A hardy Scot blessed with a wonderful fund of
humor, his presence at the bedside of many a patient has done its work almost as well as the potions he has prescribed iq restore the sick to health.
As a/ member of » the Greymouth branch of the Canterbury Automobile Association he lifted his voice to secure smoother roads and better visibility for visiting motorists.
