Carroll had Richards on the floor for the fourth time m the twelfth round when the police stopped the' fight. Richards fought well for several rounds, but Carroll was too fast for him m all departments. ' Richards was down for the first time m the third round, again m the eleventh and twice m the twelfth. White at the Leichhardt Stadium on Friday night had an unfortunate ending.
