Soon he was m the administration of the game, and passed from that field to the politics of the Wellington Athletic Centre, most alive of bodies. All. the big men who came this way-. got to know his face, and to listen ,for his judgments. Cool, levelheaded, likeable, he is as useful m his day-to-day job of law as -m the councils of muscle.
