"THE Wellington and Wanganui Regattas 1 will both be held on Saturday. =■ Good entries have been received for ;each fixture' and some "excellent ■racing' should be witnessed. • . / Ss i. ■> i The Hamilton champion crew' will compete at Wellington; and on the form they have been showing this season they should win. • ; ■ . ; \ Aramoho will put up a crewN.agairist Union at the Wanganui Regatta m . the Senior Fours, but the light blues should win despite the alterations m their crew. \ Visiting crews at Wanganui will include Clifton, -New Plymouth, Avon, West End, and -North Shore.The senior singles at Wanganui will serve to give A. K. G. Jackson a try-out, though he should have no difficulty m beating his solitary opponent, a clubmate. Jackson is sculling well and it will -take Turner all his time to beat him at Picton m the championship next week. TJie redoubtable Hamilton crew -had an easy win at the regatta .on their own water la*st week m the senior . fours-.
