Just prepare this simple mixture at home, which quickly darkens the hair and makes it soft and glossy, To seven (7) ounces of water add 1 ounce of Bay Rum and a &-o.unce box of Orlex Compound, and a y± ounce of Glycerine. The Ingredients can be purchased at any chemist's at trifling cost, and mixed at home to save unnecessary expense. Apply to the hair' twice a week until the desired shade is obtained. It does not discolor I the scalp, is not sticky or greasy, and does not rub off."*.
