Husband Obtains Divorce Decree

Myra Webster threw her husband • out into the cold street, sold their shop and all her husband's belongings, and ended up by disappear- ■ -.ing.. ; ASHTON WEBSTER, thinking no doubt it was timp he did something about it, asked the Judge of the Divorce Court to write "Rnis"- to his married life. He told his Honor, Mr. Justice Ostler, the story of his unhappy lot with his Amazon-like wife, commencing at .the point when she acquired the habit of rushing away from him ; periodically to take a holiday. It was after she and another woman took a shop m Dominion y Road that the trouble reached a crisis, he told the court, for then - his wife, assisted by her partner, turned .him out of the . house at . ; 1. 30 a.m; After that his wife "rushed away" on her last, long holiday, taking his only child with her. ' By what Webster said, however, she jumped into the proverbial fire, for her next appearance ;was .before a Magistrate m the South Island, charged with false . pretences. A ;■;■; She' was placed ori probation. She broke the rules of her probation then, and once again came before the court.
