The present vogue for high lustre black : satin suits the siren type -.'.well: . ■ What a kick the schoolboy of to-day must get out of the youth and smartness of his rriother! He may love her just as dearly if she is dowdy, but the extra pleasure of being proud of hl3 mother's appearance must mean a lot to a sensitive boy, and if we are to believe Mr. Kipling, a little boy's sensitiveness goes a thousand tirries deeper than a, little girl's.
