The programme for the three meetings to be staged this season by the Auckland Trotting Club has

been framed ahd already has' made

its appearance m book form. THE amount to be distributed for the 1 spring meeting is. £6100 and for the winter fixture £ GOO 5, avhile for the summer three-day gathering £12;855 will be on offer— a total of £24,960 m all. , : ..,.;. The chief event is. the Auckland Cup worth £1650 plus* a gold trophy valued at 100 guineas. •>•:'• • *; ,; Theßowe Trotting« Handicap and the ,Great Northern Derby are the ~ . next ■two efvehtt, 'of " importance. The Trojt is worth £1000 plus a 100 guinea cup, and the Derby ' £1000.
