FRANK'S LUCK
Represented by Trio of Winners
(From "N.Z. Truth's" Christchurch
Hep.)
It is not always the luck of patrons of. the turf to be able to
claim 100 per cent, of winners m
their stable, but such has been the fortune of Frank' Williamson, of Christchurch.
I7*RANK has owned only three horses and each has been a good winner under, his colors.
His only stroke of bad luck m the, game was when Sun Up broke a fet-' lock m pulling up after winning a race, at Trentham a few years ago.
Amor's wins last season brought Frank back into the limelight,
while he has made a good start for
the present season with three wins in.the best hack company by the Chief Ruler colt, Leader.
Leader is a well-grown three-year-old, a quick beginner and a proved weight-carrier.
Of the three-year-olds racing at Ricearton, Leader's form was by far the best and it has encouraged his connections to consider sending him to Auckland to take on Pink Coat m the Great Northern Guineas.
By the manned m which he finished m each of his races at Ricearton, Leader looks like going further and a mile should not be beyond him. '
Frank has been one of Fortune's favorites m a small way and Amor and Leader look like developing into useful performers this season.
