Fred Joblin, now a successful farmer, practised so consistently that he is today considered the finest rifle shot for miles around; and, at shooting parties far and near, he usually bags a generous share of the prizes offered. Aiv'able man, taking more than a passing interest m district affairs, he has for several years been a valued member of the Wairoa Harbor Board.
