The black and white shield for the club gaining most points m all- competitions resulted m Napier H.5.0.8.'s and Technical being bracketed winners for the season. The Lane Cup senior knock-out competition will soon be decided between the two finalists — M.A.C. and Napier H.S. 0.8. . On Saturday last, U. 5.0.8.. 0.8. eliminated Hastings by S to nil. and M.A.C. fixed Celtic by 32 to nil m the semi-final. Gill,cspic; a newcomer- from . AVoodv.ilc, scored, two tries for the winners, and is a promising young player.
