Proved The Goods
WHEN Bonny Belmont came from " Australia about six months . ago he went into J. J. Kennerley's stable, but that trainer took some time to get to understand the trotter, which is a most peculiar horse. .. Kennerley was always satisfied that Bonny .Belmont had speed, but he did not have him long enough to get the best out of him. When Kennerley left to go north , the trotter went into C. S. Donald's stable, and the Belfast trainer soon got him to show his best. His victory m the Stewards' Handicap at Addington tho first day showed that the trotter is a good deal above the ordinary, and he may achieve further successes.
