: THE well-known rider and trainer, Stan Bagby, returned home from Sydney this week, after having spent a spell of five months i across the water. '/Bags" took a team of horses over with him, but he die} not have them when he came home. They were either sold, or left to battle out their existence there. The tour did, not meet with a great meed, of success and Crown Area was the only winner he was on. The big gelding was well backed that day, and there would be some compensation coming . there. - ) Though Stan, may not have added to his bankroll, he returned : home by no means empty 1 - handed. For, m addition to Mrs. Bagby and Master Bagby, there came across the gangway, Miss Bagby.
