Ramson Collects Scalps STUDENTS' DAY (From "N.Z. Truth's" Athletic Writer.) The students of Victoria College dropped their mortar-boards to don running pumps on Saturday. MEW ZEALAND and Australasian *"' champion, Stan. Ramson, seemed to regard it as his "break the tape week." This brings yto mind the activities of the : Opunake Surf. Club, whose record m recent competitions spfeaks well for the district. The club is captained by' "W. B. Smith, who has led his team to victory on aeyeral occasions. The team won the Grey Cup In the championship relay race of Taranaki, and also the seven-man surf competition ' for the Tabor Shield. Smith also aspires to swimming honors and has the 50yds. championship of Taranaki to his credit.
