There Is Wangan ui Ahead

(From "N.Z., Truth's" "Wanganui Representative). THE Wanganui Trotting Club's annual race meeting on April 11 and 13 will attract bigger fields than last year as the dates appear more suitable. The meeting follows on after the Hawera and Taranaki fixtures. The stake-money to be given away at Wanganui is not large, but some .of the owners who will have horses racing further up the coast will be glad of the opportunity of picking up expenses at Wanganui if they miss at the earlier meetings. J. Corrigan has generously donated two silver cups, to go to the owners of the winners of the big events each day. Wi P. Russell is to act as judge and W.^Price as starter. —_——__—■— —^——^01 ■____________■___—_—_■_______ ■^ "«™"^ _-_^-_— -___a_-_a_ua_-_-_-___-___-____ )
